Peel Regional Police Hosts Graduation for Largest Class of Recruits
Region of Peel –On Tuesday, Aug. 19, Peel Regional Police will welcome its largest class of new recruits to take their oath and be sworn in as constables. This class represents over 20 countries, bringing a range of diverse background, skills, and life experiences to strengthen the front-line of the service.
Several new recruits will be available to media at noon . Media are also welcome to capture opening ceremonies, which will include marching in of recruits and remarks from Chief of Police Nishan Duraiappah. The remainder of the event will be closed to media and held privately for new recruits and their families.
