The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and Staples Canada have teamed up to deliver meaningful support to children and families preparing for the upcoming school year. Through donations, innovative programs, and hands-on experiences, this collaboration is providing students with the confidence and tools they need to thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.
Introducing the Back to School Made EASY Bus- This year, Staples Canada rolled out the Back to School Made EASY Bus, a mobile shopping experience aimed at making back-to-school preparation more engaging and accessible. Priscilla Luna, Chief Commercial Officer at Staples Canada, said the idea was born out of a desire to meet families where they are. “Back to school looks very different today, and by taking this experience on the road, we are meeting families where they are, to help them feel confident and prepared for the new school year,” Luna explained. The initiative reflects Staples’ broader mission as “The Working and Learning Company,” providing Canadians with tools, services, and expertise to support evolving learning environments.
Technology and Trends Shaping Back-to-School- The EASY Bus is stocked with curated products that reflect today’s education trends. From AI-enabled learning tools and noise-cancelling headphones to the latest devices from Samsung, Lenovo, ASUS, and Acer, the selection is designed to support diverse learning needs. Luna emphasized that technology plays a central role in shaping Staples’ back-to-school strategy, helping families discover how AI-powered tools can personalize learning and boost productivity. Popular items this year include laptops, tablets, and accessories like organizational tech and headphones, showing that families are looking for ways to stay productive in hybrid and flexible learning environments.
