Health Canada Expands Recall of Nearly 60 Unauthorized Sexual Enhancement Products Over Safety Concerns

Health Canada has issued a recall for an additional 59 unauthorized sexual enhancement products, citing concerns over the presence of prescription drugs and unlisted dangerous ingredients. In a recall notice posted on September 26, 2024, the health agency warned that products such as Rhino Rush 15000K Trio contain drugs like tadalafil and sildenafil, which are only legally available through a prescription from a healthcare provider.

The recall list, which has grown significantly in recent months, highlights the potential health risks associated with these products, as they may contain harmful ingredients not disclosed on the label. Health Canada advises consumers to dispose of these products and consult a healthcare professional if they have used them.

Since June, Health Canada has recalled over 150 products, many of which make unverified claims about sexual enhancement, weight loss, and workout aids. The agency’s recall efforts date back to 2017, and Health Canada continues to urge the public to be cautious of such unauthorized products, recommending immediate disposal for safety reasons.
